You may or may not agree, but I think most mainstream music is anemic, vapid and trite so this soundtrack came as a pleasant surprise. A nice piece by Chet Baker on it among others.

Not plastic or contrived,in my opinion, nor does it sound formula driven. Soulful, moving music.

I love this soundtrack. I am not, however, a professional musician.

But I do know good music when I hear it, and this stands out. All the other artists are unknown to me, which makes it an even better find.
